An impromptu walk through Torre di Palme

In the fall of 2021, a few months after my father (Antonio Fiacconi), passed away at the ripe

age of 100, we all came to Italy with his cremated remains to place my dad to rest in a crypt he had purchased back in the 1990s. My mother predeceased my dad in 1996 and her remains (not cremated) were brought back to Italy as per her request and she was interred in the crypt just above my dad's.

We used the occasion of my dad's passing to get the extended family together to celebrate the extraordinary life of my dad. My sons' had to return to Canada due to prior commitments but Marsha and I stayed on and enjoyed a wonderful vacation, just as my dad would have wanted.

Before leaving, my son Gianmarco (Johnny) decided to do a brief video of me walking around Torre di Palme and do a little reminiscing. It was totally impromptu but I believe it captures a lot of what this place has meant and continues to mean to me. You can check that video out at the following link on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4g7MR4At4q4

Hope you enjoy.
